Global Vocational Education and Training Event "Skills for a Competitive Europe" May 26-28, 2026. Representatives of BMA had the opportunity to participate in a Global meeting organized by EfVET. Since 2026, BMA has been a full member of this organization. The meeting was attended by 52 delegates from Italy, Belgium, Portugal, Finland, the Netherlands, Greece, Spain, the USA, Malta, Ireland, and Georgia. The thematic team was "Skills for a Competitive Europe" – goals and ways of implementation. During the meeting, participants had the chance to visit various types of training centers and become familiar with the teaching process using innovative methodology. The feasibility and effectiveness of AI were discussed. Participants were honoured to listen to the presentations from Ms. Brigitte Van Den Berg (Member of the European Parliament) and Mr. Alexis Hoyaux (European Commissioner). They emphasized the important role the European Parliament and the European Commission direct to VET and the impact of the development of this sector has on the green economy, human resources policy and migration.

The next meeting is scheduled for 21-23 October 2026 in Brussels
