Public Vocational School, Batumi Medical Academy has been operating since 1992.

The Academy trains vocational education specialists in the field of healthcare. During its existence, the school was graduated by a young specialist from Asboit, who are employed by profession in the leading medical institutions in the region, working in Georgia and abroad.

The academy has the infrastructure corresponding to modern requirements - material and technical base (the miracle is located on the basis of the "Medical Center" in Batumi), its own dental polyclinic, library, cabinets-laboratories, the academy has contracts, memoranda with leading medical and pharmaceutical companies. Has close ties to employers. The academy has leading professional teachers.

Batumi Medical Academy is constantly in search of news and actively participates in various events. In 2015, the Medical Academy was awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement for its support of vocational education reform in the implementation of modular vocational education programs.

In 2016, the school was awarded a certificate for participation in the conference organized under the auspices of the First International Exhibition of Tourism and Medical Equipment.

The Academy is an active member of the Georgian Association of Private Colleges. In the 2016 branding, the school received the highest rating and was awarded 5 stars.
