On October 30–31, 2026, the Ilia Chavchavadze Public College in Sagarejo hosted a peer visit organized by the Association of Private Colleges of Georgia. The meeting brought together nearly 50 representatives from over 20 colleges. Such peer visits have become a tradition for the Association, serving as a platform for vocational educational institutions to share experiences, discuss common challenges, and collaboratively seek solutions. During the two-day event, participants examined the purpose, practical application, and utility of the evaluation form used for vocational educational programs, as well as the need to revise the form and improve practices regarding its targeted use. A separate discussion focused on challenges related to the 2026 student admission process, compliance with internal and external regulations, and potential solutions. Additionally, the participants had the opportunity to explore the host college’s activities, facilities, and resources. The Association’s Quality Committee presented trends and findings derived from an analysis of administrative proceedings—materials made publicly available by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement. The discussion enabled the colleges to relate issues identified within assessment practices to their own experiences and to deliberate on approaches to quality assurance. The Association will formally publish its position and recommendations regarding the topics discussed and share them with interested stakeholders. The Association of Private Colleges of Georgia extends its gratitude to the host college and all participants for their active cooperation. The practice of peer visits will continue in the coming year.
