An educational and scientific tour of the cultural heritage areas of Western Georgia was held within the framework of the Batumi Medical Academy Student Conference.

On July 6, 2025, as part of the final part of the XXIX Student Practical Conference, a one-day educational tour was held with the participation of students and academic staff of the Batumi Medical Academy, the purpose of which was to familiarize students with the historical and cultural sights of Georgia and promote informal education for students.

The first location was the Dadiani Palace, Zugdidi.

The conference participants visited the historical residence of the Samegrelo princes, got acquainted with the unique exhibits preserved in the museum and the architectural features of the palace. The visit included both the museum exposition and the King's Garden.

The second location was the Nokalakevi archaeological site.

One of the oldest historical and archaeological monuments in Georgia is Nokalakevi, which preserves important information about the culture and history of ancient Colchis.

This tour helps to raise students' awareness of cultural heritage and the history of the country and enriches the educational component of the academic process with practical elements.
